A developer is hosting a public information meeting for a condo project being proposed in Dollarton area of the District of North Vancouver.
TRC Construction manager has applied to redevelop the 2045-2075 site on Old Dollarton Road for an apartment building. The site is currently a one-storey building containing five commercial units.
The public meeting will take place on December 5, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School at 420 Seymour River Place.
The developer is proposing 36 owned apartments plus 4,148 square feet of commercial space in a five-storey building with 60 parking spaces.
Of those, 41 parking spaces will be for residents, nine for visitors, and 10 for retail customers.
If the project moves ahead, it will require rezoning, as well as a development permit for form and character of commercial, industrial, and multi-family development.
The site falls under the Maplewood Village Centre, one among the village centres which are envisioned as ‘complete and balanced’ community with thriving local jobs and businesses.
